Anna Marie pushed and shuffed through the halls, a less than happy look on her face. She really, really didn't feel like going to math today. Of course, she never felt like going to any class any day of the whole two and a half or so years she's been at this school. But today, that feeling was just a tad bit stronger than usual. Softly groaning to herself when her classroom door came into site she turned on her heel. "Fuuuuuuck that." she had decided on not attending class today, that just so happened to sound a lot more pleasing than a math test and her stupid teacher trying to get everyone to play beyond dorky games.
As she pushed and shuffed through the halls back the same way she came she noticed the crowd had died down. It wasn't as difficult to move anymore. While walking, the bell rang. Anna Marie sped up her pace, at the moment, security guards would most likely assume she was simply just late for class, but if she didn't get out of the hallways quickly someone was bound to notice. It was far to late to get outside and go anywhere at least slightly amusing, so she'd have to settle on some abandoned place in the school. After thinking it through she realized that the auditorium just so happened to be conveniently empty during this period. Unless of course someone had the same idea as her, doubtful. Or if someone was conveniently told to go there. She settled on the auditorium, that sounded welcoming.
Anna Marie walked into the auditorium, letting the heavy door slam behind her. The lights were off. And it was quite cold, and after staying in there for a while, would feel even colder. She wasn't wearing a jacket, but she didn't mind yet. Being in a cold, dark, huge room sounded better than a math test, to her anyway. She walked down the aisle to the back row, if anyone did come in they might not notice if she was all the way back here. She down in a seat near the wall, she wasn't in the last row, but she was in the back. The third row from the back to be exact. Sighing as she sat down, she put her bag under the chair she was in. Sitting back up she crossed her arms across her chest. Letting out a heavy exhale staring at the many rows of seats in front of her, a blank expression on her face that quickly transformed into boredom. She picked the perfect day to leave her ipod at home.
Malcom hated class. It was the practices after school he wanted. And if he wasn't at school, he couldn't go to practice. It was a bad trade off but he was willing to do it. His normal solution was deal with the classes, sleep if he had to, and run to te gym or the soccer field when classes were over. Today was different. He was feeling particularly lazy.
His first class had been Drama, a class forced upon him by his overbearing mother. The only thing good about Drama was that he could act like a complete fool and not get in too much trouble. But today was the first day of practice for a serious play they had to do. He had to play some guy who talked to a skull while contemplating suicide. He had skipped. His first thought was to exit the building entirely but he had little faith that he would have come back in time for his 2nd class, History. He had to be there for History, even if it was boring. The teacher was great. He was always letting Malcom get away with things. Malcom took great advantage over the poor man. Sometimes he would throw things at a snotty senior or at the innocent freshmen. Sleeping was always an option but mostly, he liked to write very detailed sex letters to the girls or look at his recent copy of Playboy.
Deciding that the chairs in the History room just weren'y comfy enough for his Playboy today, he had just gotten up and left the room. He grabbed a pass from the teacher's desk on the way out, tucking the magazine under his shirt and hanging the pass around his neck. The pass meant nothing in History but you needed one out in the halls if you didn't want to get sent to the principal. The principal didn't like Malcom much.
He entered the Auditorium, glancing around the empty room. There was a single line of chairs against the side wall where there was a little light but not much. He chose these padded seats and sprawled out along them, Playboy opened in front of him.
The sound of the bell and the doors slamming a few minutes after made Malcom sit up, looking around. A girl came in. She sank down in a chair close to the back. He blinked and put down the magazine.
Without a second thought, he stood and strode over to her, taking a seat two rows in front of her. He turned around in mock surprise.
Anna Marie's eyes fallowed as an unfamiliar figure moved toward her, apparently she had been wrong as to no one but her was in the room. She watched, blinking a few times as he sat down two rows in front of her. Starring at him, hoping she wasn't noticed. She inwardly sighed when he began to speak. Then after he was done stared at him with a blank expression. Blinking a few times, she registered that he had in fact made a very 'smooth' comment. Slightly frowning, she raised an eyebrow. And with a sarcastic tone replied "Oh yeah, totally baby."
After rolling her eyes, she looked him over, trying to see if she could recognize him. She couldn't, but she could tell he sure did look like someone she most likely wouldn't, couldn't grow to be fond of. She knew it was stereotypical of her but he really did look like a jock. The kind that saw themselves to be high and mighty. Though she was sure that it was just all talk. And his first sentence toward her, said it all.
After staring at him for a while, she rolled her eyes again and looked to her right where the wall was. Looking it up and down, sighing, she then looked back at him. Thinking of something to say, she wrapped her arms around her self tighter then before, "And who the Hell do you think you are may I ask?"
"Oh yeah, totally baby." Malcom's smile grew as he thought of all the things he could do to this girl. There were some pretty fascinating articles about that kind of stuff in his magazine. But then his mind registered how sarcastic she sounded. He frowned.
"It's not nice to tease," he told her in a fake scolding tone. He looked at the girl with eager eyes. He wanted to take that home. He watched her eyes move over to the wall and he felt hurt.
Why's the wall more appealing than me? I'm sexy, I'm hot, I'm amazing. What does this chick want, a bleached white guy? He scowled until her eyes returned to him which moved a smile back to his face.
"And who the Hell do you think you are may I ask?"
"I am Malcom but I think I'm a god... Probably Zeus or Posiedon. So, since you only want to know who I think I am, just call me Zeus." He winked at her.
Anna Marie Held back a laugh at his God comment. Forcing a frown on her face in a sad attempt to hide a smile. And when he winked, it was even harder to stop herself from laughing. His comment was not only pure stupidity, but pretty funny when you thought about it. Noticing her fake frown wasn't very believable she tried raising an eyebrow to make it look more convincing. After a while she shrugged her laugh off, hoping he wouldn't notice, her facial expression turned back to normal. "Really Now. Well, I've never met a god before. Especially one's that steal little boys and use them as sex slaves like Zeus does. Quite Interesting if you ask me."
Shrugging, her gaze wondered from him up to the dim lights, it confused her how only those lights were on. 'maybe, thats why it's so cold.' Letting her random incorrect thought leave her mind she looked back at him, "So, if your Zeus what's an almighty God like you doing in a place like this? Don't you have a more fun place to skip than in a school auditorium?"
Malcom was quite proud of himself about getting the girl to laugh. He had a set system with getting to girls.
1. Get them to smile/laugh 2. Make them feel superior/Compliment them 3. Make them agree with you 4. Take them to dinner of their choice 5. Give them candy/flowers 6. Get what you want and get the hell out
It had worked every other time he tried it but he had only tried it on mindless bimbos. But, he had gotten sex from all of them. So far, he was on 1 with this girl.
"Really Now. Well, I've never met a god before. Especially one's that steal little boys and use them as sex slaves like Zeus does. Quite Interesting if you ask me."
"Quite," he said triyng to sound bored, "I love little girls a little more than boys but they'll do if I haven't got to right resources." He flashed her a wicked grin again and stood up to move to a chair directly in front of her. He sat down again, looking her up and down. She was hot, no doubt about it. He would definatly have to try his system.
So, if your Zeus what's an almighty God like you doing in a place like this? Don't you have a more fun place to skip than in a school auditorium?" He silently applauded her. She wasn't as dumb as some of the girls he had met.
"Actually, fair maiden, I came to track you down and to tell you that you must have been born to the wrong family because you belong up on Mt. Olympus." He lay his head down on the top line of the chair and continued to give her a hungry wolf smile. "School's not worth skipping if you don't run the risk of getting caught, don't you think?"
'pedophile was the first word that came to her mind when told he liked little girls. She raised an eyebrow, "Why little?" could he not get anything else? But, she wasn't about to ask that, how that would make him feel was beyond her, in fact he might not even care. But it was better the be safe than sorry, and she didn't want to make him feel stupid. She could tell he was at least giving some effort. That'd be mean. She was sort of surprised when he moved directly in front of her, her eyes fallowed until he sat down. Blinking, she just stared at him for a bit.
Before he began to speak, she looked down and kicked off her shoes, watching her self do so. Looking back up at him, she smiled a bit at his next sentence, raising her eyebrow, and stopping herself from giggling. "Well, that was surely the most original 'complement I have ever received. Good job." watching him lay his head on the chair she almost opened her mouth to comment on it, but wasn't fast enough. She nodded, just a little in agreement. "I guess, but then again, isn't one of the whole main points of skipping to not go to school, and not get caught in the process?"
Malcom let his eyes linger on her chest as she breathed in and out as she spoke. It was like the Chuckie Cheese but for big kids... big pervert kids. He smiled, moving his eyes back up to meet hers before he got caught looking where he shouldn't.
"Why little?" He shrugged a bit. "Comes with the job, honey. Besides, girls a few years younger tend not to know me so they trust me easier." He winked again, giving her his you-know-you-love-me smile.
"Well, that was surely the most original 'complement I have ever received. Good job. I guess, but then again, isn't one of the whole main points of skipping to not go to school, and not get caught in the process?" Malcom raised his head and lay back agaisnt the arm of the chair. One of his legs hung down against the side while the other angled up and draped over the opposite arm. He liked this girl. She was smart but she wasn't too smart. Just perfect for him.
"I suppose. If we're skipping, why not do it together? I bet you don't like the horrid veggie burgers they're serving down in the... cafe." He said the word with contempt, just hating that the servers insisted on calling that roach palace a cafe. "Why don't we bail and check out that new diner out on Donnor Street? I've heard good things about that place."
The Junior stood and walked, shoulders back and eyes focused on the girl, over to her chair and extended his hand. "Come on." He gave her a lopsided grin and tossed his head gently toward the door.
She smiled back at him, "Really, well then I don't know If I should trust you, considering you take advantage of little girls." She turned her head away, listening to him speak and staring at the wall. When he started talking about food, she was quite hungry considering her moronic roommate had been once again successfully kept her away from her food that morning. She hesitated when asked 'why not skip together?' Perhaps because I don't know you? she thought to herself. She listened to him speak. "Well, I don't really mind veggie burgers. Considering I'm a vegetarian. But, there definitely not the best here."
She stared, hesitating a bit before she answered, why not? She looked at his hand, her facial expression showed slight discomfort, but it soon left, replaced with a smile, looking back up at him her hand reached out to his, letting her knee's drop once her arm was removed from around her knee's. Sliding her feet back into her shoes before grabbing his hand with her own. "I don't know, can I trust you to not get us caught?" pausing, she quickly added, "Can I even trust you?" Not that she expected him to try anything, but one hint of it , and she'd be less than happy.
Malcom's hand wrapped around her's sending a warm tingling up his arm. He smiled at her graciously. He didn't care much about eating a veggie burger either but there were definatly better places to get food. With her hand in his, he pulled her up from the chair.
"I don't know, can I trust you to not get us caught? Can I even trust you?"
"Well, I know I wouldn't trust me to, for example, raise a child. But you could trust me to get out of this hell hole called a school. I've got all the tricks from the older students." He flashed her a mischevious grin and pulled her away from the chairs.
Anna Marie smiled back at him once pulled up from the chair, but she soon raised an eyebrow at his reasoning, "Raise a child?" she frowned slightly at the thought of children, then mumbling to herself "I hate kids." She really disliked little kids. That's why babysitting was never really an option. Snapping back into reality once she noticed he had continued talking. Her facial expression changed from what would be best explained as annoyance from the thought of children, to once again smiling.
Without hesitating, she fallowed him willingly, he couldn't be all that bad. Apart from his vain comments, this guy actually seemed pretty nice for someone who also seemed so 'full of it.' Smiling, she nodded, "of course. But if I get in trouble, you'll be in even more." thinking what she just said over, she really hoped he hadn't took that threat the wrong way. But whatever, not like it really mattered anyway.
Ignoring her questioning words about raising a child, Malcom stooped to grab her bag. It was mildly heavy but he could deal with it. He pulled the bag over his shoulder and tilted his head toward the door. She said something about hating kids but he was interested. He didn't like kids either but that was nothing to tell a woman on their first date.
"Of course. But if I get in trouble, you'll be in even more."
Malcom raised his eyebrows. It had sounded like a threat but he was in no position to be taking threats from women. He nodded his head in agreement, happy to just be getting away.
"Suits me fine. We just won't get caught then." He began walking toward the door, still grasping her smaller hand in his.
Staring at him when he spoke, She smiled when she noticed he had picked up her bag, it just proved her point more. He couldn't be all that bad. "Thanks." She had almost forgotten it. Not that it would of mattered, she could of just gotten it later that day when she came back. She continued to fallow him as he walked toward the door.
She looked to the side a bit, it had just accord to her that she would not only miss this period, but possibly next. She smiled a bit, inwardly shrugging. It didn't matter to her. Next period was English anyway, and that was a class she wasn't too fond of.
