It was nice. Going out with a friend on a Friday night and knowing that your friend just makes it better. Biting her lip, she got changed out of her school clothes into a short skirt and a The Academy Is... tee. She didn't forget to put on her star studded belt so that it just hung loosely off her hip. Just because she was feeling a bit dorky as well, in addition to her converse, she put on a pair of knee high blue socks. Dancing a bit, she got ready to some Cobra Starship playing on her stereo, putting on a heap of black eyeliner to accent her eyes. All she did for her hair was shake it while dancing to the music and was pretty much ready to go, leaving her apartment and deciding to walk to the movie theatre.
She was going to be a little early, so she started to walk a bit slow, taking in the scenery as the sun was still shining just a bit, ready for the sun to set and be engulfed in the horizon. As she reached the cinema, her thoughts were proven true. She was about 5 minutes early and decided to just waited out front for one of her friends, ruffling her hair every once in a while to mess it up a bit just like she liked it.
Taking her phone out, she started to text her brother back who was telling her that business was booming and just checking up on her. It was always good to have those little notes. It let her know that Kevin actually cared about her unlike say... their father? She sighed as she put her phone back in her bag and waited, looking around for her friend. It was just about 6:00 now and she couldn't see her friend anywhere.

Nate sighed as he heard his alarm clock go off. Being so lazy, he usually just fell right to sleep when he got home from school, then slept in to about 7 later going to bed an hour later at 9. It was allot of sleep, but it gave him tons of energy for the weekend. But today, his alarm clock had gone off a little bit to early. Try a half an hour? After turning it off he was about to drift off to sleep again, not remembering why he had gotten up so early but jumped when he realized he was going to be late to the movie him and Kiki agreed to go and see.
He jumped out of bed, running to the bathroom. No matter how late he was he absolutely had to look perfect. He didn't come out until around 5:55, he inwardly sighed, walking out of the room and out of his apartment. He tried no to look at his broken car, it made him want to cry whenever he did. Especially at times like this, when he really could use it. He knew it would take him until at least 6:10 maximum till he reached the movie theater. He stopped himself from frowning at the thought, he shrugged it off and tried to think of something else, looking up at the trees at he walked he questioned exactly what it was that made there leaves green.
Once the movie theater came into site, He smiled pulling out his phone to check the time. Apparently he didn't walk as fast as he thought he did, he wrong about the maximum time it would take him to arrive, it was now 6:15, it was only five minutes, But he still felt bad for being so late. Hopefully he would get there before she did. When he noticed Kiki waiting he smiled, it was always so fun meeting her places. Though he had never really been this late before so he wasn't quite sure at how he would react. Once he got close enough he yelled her name, "KiKi Quach, the love of my dear life!" He smiled yet again as he continued walking, waiting for her reply.

She sighed, walking up to the box to get two tickets just incase. Biting her lip, she looked around as she gave the man her money and took two tickets from him. She walked back to her little stop on the pavement and watched as some of her own friends went into the theatre and smiled at them telling them that she was waiting for Nate. The sun was going down fast now and she just waited for him, her sunlight now gone so that she was relying on the air for heat. Thank god Santa Cruz was always nice and warm. Kiki shook her hair out of her eyes as she heard a familiar voice, whipping her head to the side, smiling.
"Well, surely, if I was the love of your life, then you'd feel a bit more compelled to be on time." She smirked at him and couldn't hold it any longer. She started to laugh and walked up to him to give him a hug, not really being able to reach his shoulders since she was so short. She managed to just settle for a hug around his waist. "But you know, if you keep being so fashionably late, I don't know what I'd have to do to you."
With another shake of her hair, she linked her arm around his and started to walk inside of the theatre. She loved having a friend like Nate. He was there to watch stupid little movies with her even if they were chick flicks where it was obvious the girl was going to fall in love with that guy and all that other jazz. She was also a good essential for Nate. Being with him helped a few of the girls just lay off of him since he was just that gorgeous that girls would just stare in awe that he was in the same room as him.

Nate giggled a little when she hugged him, It was always so funny to him the height difference they had between each other. Hugging her back then smiling at her when she pulled away. "Well, maybe. But you see, when I'm fashionably late" He paused linking his arm to hers as well, "It only makes me about ten trillion times cooler than i already am." He flicked his hair out of his eyes, as if to prove his point. A proud look on his face as he walked up the stairs with her.
He smiled as they walked in to the big room. "Oh! It smells like popcorn!" He said that rather excellently, considering he hated popcorn. It always got stuck in his perfectly brushed, blinding white teeth. Remembering this his smile formed into a frown. "I hate popcorn." He pouted a little before looking around and smiling again. "Well, I don't know what I'd do with out you."He looked to his side and down at her, "Because if I didn't have you, everyone would be all over me. Considering I'm so drop dead sexy!" He giggled a bit, as he smiled at her. He always loved making conceded comments about himself, even though in reality, he just so happened to be very unselfish and one of the farthest things from conceded. No matter, he liked making them just the same.
Looking around again, he noticed the long line of people waiting to get food or drinks, or perhaps candy and whatnot. Looking back at her, biting his bottom lip and smiling his eyes looking up a bit, "KiiiiiKi I sure do Loooove you sweetie!"He paused again, then decided to add something so she couldn't pretend like she didn't know what he was talking about. "I love you so much! In fact, just as much as I just so happen to love Pepsi! And as much as I love repaying people the day after I ask them for things!" Surely, she was bound to understand.

"Honey, you only wish you were drop dead sexy." Smirking at him, she looked him in the eye, her voice full of all seriousness. "I'd beat you in a sexy party anyday." Kiki giggled after a few moments passed. Shaking her hair out of her eyes, she pulled out her wallet from her purse and grabbed the debit. "You know... you still haven't paid me back for the jacket I bought you." Kiki of course had been kidding. She always had more than enough money, so there was almost no point in having to pay her back. Unless it was a huge amount, then she would expect it to be paid in full. If not, then she'd hurt you and start taking money until it was paid, ending up in a lost friendship.
Walking into one of the lines, she turned to look at Nate. The line was kinda big. about 13 people were ahead of them. "Well, since we've got about 10 million years to wait, you've got time to think about what you want." She looked at everything herself, but was only looking because she knew Nate would think it strange if she hadn't. Kiki wasn't going to buy herself anything except maybe a soda. It wasn't weird for her not to eat in front of her friends anymore. At least she thought. She thinks she convinced them all that she's a shy eater.
